Your Web Pros

Digital Marketing Results

So you have heard all the promises about Digital Marketing Results. You have spent what seems like plenty of money and time and you wonder why you are not getting any results.

Several of the “Experts” you hired promised you first page results and tons of traffic. You had such great hopes.

You know realize that they were not such experts, after all. Their website and SEO plans, it turns out, were only successful for them and their bank account.

Your website is slow, it raely gets any visitors unless you send them, and even when someone goes to your website, they never do anything other than leave quickly.

What do you do now?

You know that what you do or sell works out well and people are satified, but you don’t know how to get more exposure and how to grow your business. You have learned that the foreign devoloper and promises don’t work out.

Let’s talk about some analogies;

  • You want to race cars and go out and buy an economy car…
  • You want to build a luxury home with used materials…
  • You build your website on an economy hosting solution because they advertise so well and you like their spokeswoman. ..

I think you are getting the idea…You have to have realistic budget and plans for your digital marketing. You need someone that can be honest about the cost of  Website, Search and Social Media work.

If youo truly have good products and services and want an honest assessment of what you have and what you need, I will persoanlly invest 30 minutes with you to go over your goals. START HERE

Disaster Recovery

At one time in our lives, we have all had the dreaded lost files or lost access to something. It is a horrible feeling.

This can be prevented by planning and good documentation.

#1. #Backups are IMPORTANT.

#2. Saving #Access information for the things you access is crucial.

#3. Always complete the backup email and phone number areas of site and app access.

#4. Keep #data files and #folders on site and off site. (if you lose one, you have the other)

#5. Don’t trust your #computer or #phone for important file storage. Remember to backup files and photos off device.

#6. Plan for a problem in advance. What will you do if you lose access to…..? How will you handle it until you get access again?

I start projects with each clients by backing up what they already have. I backup websites, emails and other information so if something happens I can reset everything to the state it was before I started.

Zoom Meetings Training

I have been working with online meeting platforms for many years now for my business Your Web Pros. We have used Cisco WebEx since 2011 as our primary means to work with clients around the world in desktop shared meetings. Zoom made a big splash this year with people and groups seeking to stay connected during the quarantine. Millions of people around the world were meeting through Zoom and an enjoying it’s features. Zoom has become problematic with security issues and stories of horrible situations requiring many people and organizations to pull back or quit altogether. I have been looking at alternatives and have found Google Meet. I have a pretty good experience and trust level with Google overall and have been using Meet for a couple of weeks now. I have found it an easy application to learn, setup and to schedule and create meetings. It works with Google Calendar seamlessly. Google Meet works with Google Chrome browser. There is no application to use on desktop computers. I love that part of it. The price is free for 100 users and there is no time limit as with free versions of Zoom and Webex having 40 minutes. It does not have all the features of the paid units, but for a simple room to meet and engage with others online it is a very good option. There is recording and more features for GSuite users. The users I invite have been surprised on how easy it is to connect and like the interface. It takes a bit to get used to the easy interface and controls as with anything, but overall it is a simple, reliable online shared meeting tool. If you or your organization are seeking an online meeting application, I recommend looking into it.
